At Ardgowan we have built stocks of some of the best casks from across Scotland, giving us the opportunity to create extraordinary whiskies. When we find a cask with something truly special maturing inside, we bottle it as part of our limited edition Ardgowan Distillery Discovery Series.

Fans of our Clydebuilt range and the first four whiskies in the Discovery series will already appreciate the outstanding quality of the casks selected by our master whisky maker, Max McFarlane during his whisky making process.

While making the cask choices for Clydebuilt Riveter, our first grain whisky, we tasted two hogshead casks containing stunning single grain Scotch whisky. These casks had been patiently waiting 18 years for their liquid gold to be unearthed and, most importantly, enjoyed. 

A limited run of only 535 bottles, we are sure this will follow in the footsteps of previous Discovery bottlings and sell out exceptionally quickly - act quickly to avoid disappointment!
